About
An independent editorial project about 360 and action cameras: what to buy, what each format is for, and how to decide without paying for features you will never use.
Affiliate disclosure: this site is funded by Amazon affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — you pay the same price. The commission does not change our ranking or the limits we publish. Details: affiliate disclosure.
The project
What this site is
en360grados.online is an independent editorial project about 360 and action cameras. We publish buying guides and comparisons built around one question: which camera fits what you are going to record.
We are not a store and not an automatic spec comparator. We write for someone who is about to buy and would rather understand the reasoning than scroll through a table of numbers. That is why every recommendation on the site comes with the case where it stops making sense.
The site is written by Jorge Romero, who also runs the Spanish edition. The English pages are written for this audience rather than translated line by line, so the examples and the wording are not always identical.
Method
How we choose the cameras
Four rules applied before a model earns a place in a guide.
Real use before spec sheet
A model gets in because it fits a specific way of shooting, not because it accumulates features. If we cannot say who it is for, it does not belong in the list.
Products that exist and can be bought
No announcements, prototypes or discontinued gear presented as new. If it is not currently available to a normal buyer, it is not a recommendation.
One option per profile
If two cameras solve the same problem, we pick one and explain why. Padding the list helps nobody and makes the decision harder.
Limits in plain sight
When a camera has a relevant drawback, it is written next to the recommendation, not buried in a footnote three sections later.
Verification
How we check what we publish
Every claim is contrasted with the manufacturer’s official information and with the seller’s listing. When a figure depends on the model, the version or a housing, we say so instead of taking it for granted.
We do not publish prices, stock or delivery times. Those change daily and vary by country; they are only reliable in the store, at the moment of purchase. That is why our product links send you to the live listing rather than to a number that was true last month.
When we find an error, we correct it. When a reader finds one, we want to hear about it — it is the fastest way to improve a guide. You can reach us through the contact page.
Transparency
What we do not do
- We do not invent prices, availability or shipping times. Those belong to the retailer, not to a guide.
- We do not publish specifications we cannot verify. If a number has no source, it stays out.
- We do not manufacture reviews or user ratings. No invented testimonials, no fake scores.
- We do not claim hands-on testing we did not do. Where we have not used a unit, the guide rests on official documentation and the intended use of each format — and we say so.
- We do not recommend a product because its commission is higher. The ordering follows use, not payout.
Funding
How the site is financed
With Amazon affiliate links. If you buy after clicking one of them, we receive a commission at no additional cost to you: the price you pay is the same. The full detail is in the affiliate disclosure.
That commission does not change the order of the recommendations, nor the fact that we point out each model’s limitations. A camera earns its place because it fits a use, not because it pays better.
There are no sponsored posts on this site. If that ever changes, the page will say so at the top, in the same place where the affiliate notice appears today.
Next step
Your use matters, not the spec sheet
If you already know what you are going to record, the buying guide takes you straight to the options that make sense for you.
